Who We Are? The Workshop
The Bike Sellier Workshop: Craftsmanship & Passion
100% French Know-How, Far from the Factory Floor
Founded in 2018 by Mickaël, Bike Sellier isn't a production line. It's the story of a passionate craftsman who chose to dedicate his hands to perfecting the one thing that physically connects you to your bike: your seat.
Far from the overseas assembly plants churning out generic products by the thousand, every Bike Sellier seat cover is an act of patience. Paying for a BKS cover means investing in hours of meticulous work and in fairly paying a craftsman based in France.
The Transparency Behind Our Trade as Saddle Makers
Building the cover you design with our 3D tool doesn't happen with a snap of the fingers. The trade of an upholsterer and saddle maker demands real rigour:
- Choosing the Materials and the Grip: We refuse thin Asian plastics. We buy miles of professional grip and Alcantara that meet brutal abrasion standards and are tested for the demands of motorsport.
- Patterning Down to the Millimetre: So your cover never forms a single nasty wrinkle, the template of your seat (Derbi, KTM, Beta, Sherco...) is broken down into dozens of separate pieces, each carefully cut by hand.
- Stitching with Marine Thread: Stitching such dense materials together in 3D takes a seriously powerful machine. We use an ultra-resistant marine-grade thread, immune to UV, salt and rain, so your seat lasts for years without ever cracking.
Our Promise: The Standards of a One-Off Piece
When you order from Bike Sellier, you're not buying a product off the shelf. You're placing an order with a real person, who prints your ticket, pulls the material from his rolls, cuts it, embroiders your emblem onto it, and stitches it. That's the cost of quality with no compromise.
It's this love of pure craftsmanship that earned us an exceptional rating of 4.8/5 from over 111 verified customers.
On behalf of all the passion we pour into this workshop: thank you for your trust.
