50cc seat cover comparison: which BKS finish?
You want to redo your 50's seat, but between the entry-level BKS ONE and LA BKS at the top of the range, you're wondering which one is right for your ride and your budget? Totally normal. We have six finishes, from the basic one that still looks sharp to the full premium hand-stitched, and each has a specific use. I'm Micka, I've been sewing these covers in the workshop for 7 years, so I'll lay it out clearly: no fluff, just the right range for your case. By the end you'll know exactly what to click in the 3D configurator.
The BKS ranges at a glance
All our covers are made of technical synthetic leather, hand-stitched in France in our workshop in Pia (66380). The difference between the ranges isn't the quality of the stitching — it's the same care everywhere — but the type of surface, the level of personalisation and the visual result. Here are the six, from cheapest to most expensive (prices checked live as I write):
- BKS ONE — from €59.90: the entry price. One colour, clean look, anti-slip surface. The entry ticket to ride with a clean seat.
- Evo Black Premium — from €89.90: the customisable base. You play with colours and grip, the best personalisation-to-price ratio.
- Alcantara — from €115.90: the velvet touch, the grip that pins you down under braking. For those who want feel.
- Diamond — from €149.90: the quilted stitching, padded style. The detail that turns a seat into a show piece.
- VELTO — from €164.90: the play of materials and textures, a premium result that stands out at a show.
- LA BKS V2 — from €187.90: the top. Signature finish, full custom, the cover people notice in the car park before they even see the bike.
You'll find all these finishes in the 50cc motorcycle seat cover collection, and the most affordable versions in the BKS basics.
Decision table: budget vs use
The simplest approach is to cross what you put into it with what you expect from the cover. Here's how I'd decide in your place:
| Your profile | Budget | Recommended range | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| I want clean without breaking the bank | from €59.90 | BKS ONE | Clean seat, anti-slip surface, one colour. The bare minimum that still pops. |
| I want to customise without blowing the budget | from €89.90 | Evo Black Premium | Colours of your choice + grip. The personalisation-to-price sweet spot of the range. |
| Teen pulling wheelies, needs grip | from €89.90 to €115.90 | Evo Black Premium or Alcantara | The grip keeps your backside planted while lifting the front; the Alcantara pins you even harder. |
| I'm building a bike for a show / expo | from €149.90 to €187.90 | Diamond, VELTO or LA BKS V2 | Textures, materials, signature finish: the result that turns heads. |
| I want the best, whatever the price | from €187.90 | LA BKS V2 | The peak of our in-house custom. You can't do better with us. |

A concrete use case for each range
Tight budget: BKS ONE or the basics
Got 60 euros and a seat that's peeling? The BKS ONE does the job. It's the entry price: one colour, a clean anti-slip surface, and your bike changes its look instantly. It's also the range I recommend to parents kitting out their kid's 50 without wanting to spend a small fortune. No frills, but a real hand-stitched cover that holds up.
Teen learning to wheelie: bet on grip
When you spend your time with the front wheel up, what matters is that your backside doesn't slide back. There, grip isn't an option, it's the tool. The Evo Black Premium gives you that grip plus the choice of colours to match the plastics. Want even more feel under braking? The Alcantara pins you down like nothing else — I explain it in detail in what the Alcantara really changes.
Show, expo, parked in front of the bar: Diamond, VELTO or LA BKS
If the goal is to turn heads, we move up the range. The Diamond and its quilted stitching give that padded look you notice from a distance. The VELTO plays with materials and textures for a result that stands out. And at the top, LA BKS V2: the signature finish, the one people photograph. For an expo, that's what I'd pull out without hesitation.
How to choose in 30 seconds
Just ask yourself two questions. One: is it to ride or to shine? If it's to ride → BKS ONE or Evo Black Premium depending on whether you want to customise or not. If it's to shine → Diamond, VELTO or LA BKS V2. Two: do you slide on your seat? Then go for grip (Evo Black Premium) or the Alcantara, whatever range you're after. The rest is a matter of taste and budget — and there, the configurator does the work for you.
A useful reminder: shipping is free from €100 spent, and you can pay in 3 or 4 instalments at no charge. So even a LA BKS V2 is easy to finance. And if you ever change your mind, you have 14 days' right of withdrawal.
FAQ — choosing your BKS finish
What's the difference between BKS ONE and Evo Black Premium?
The BKS ONE (from €59.90) is our entry price: one colour, anti-slip surface, clean look. The Evo Black Premium (from €89.90) adds colour personalisation and choice of grip. If you want to customise, get the Evo; if you just want a clean seat on the cheap, the ONE is enough.
Are grip and Alcantara the same thing?
No. Grip is a textured anti-slip surface, ideal for wheelies and dynamic riding. The Alcantara (from €115.90) has a velvet touch that pins your backside under braking, with a more premium result. Two different philosophies of grip.
Which range for a show bike?
Diamond (from €149.90), VELTO (from €164.90) or LA BKS V2 (from €187.90). These are the three finishes designed for the look: quilted padding, play of materials and signature finish. For a stand or a photo, LA BKS V2 remains the in-house benchmark.
Are all the ranges available for my 50 model?
Most finishes can be made for the common models (Derbi, Beta, Rieju, Nitro, Aerox…). The simplest: enter your model in the configurator, it'll only offer the ranges actually available for your seat.
Are your covers made of leather?
No, it's technical synthetic leather, hand-stitched in France in Pia (66380). It's more resistant to UV and rain than real leather on a motorcycle seat, and far easier to maintain day to day.
Your turn in the 3D configurator
Now that you know which range suits how you ride, the best thing is to see it for real on your bike. Our 3D configurator lets you choose the model, the finish (BKS ONE, Evo Black Premium, Alcantara, Diamond, VELTO or LA BKS V2), the colours and the grip — and you preview the result before you confirm. Get going from the 50cc seat cover collection and build the cover that'll turn heads. We then sew it by hand, just for your ride.
Note from Micka: our covers show 8.9/10 across 189 verified reviews, and over 1000 riders are already riding with them. If you're still hesitating, take a look at the reviews — they speak better than I do.
